ROLE Interview Design Practitioner TYPE Contract · 20–30 hrs / week LOCATION US Remote (any timezone) REPORTS TO Rajesh Pargai, Founder

Why this role exists

Since 2020 our client work has been almost entirely inside India — most of it inside a 12 km radius of Indiranagar. In the last eighteen months seven US teams have engaged us, three on retainer. Running that from Bengaluru at odd hours is not scalable, and shipping a scorecard for a US-based panel without ever having sat in one of their debriefs is not honest work.

So we're adding one senior practitioner in the US — contract to start, 20 to 30 hours a week, with an option to convert to full-time delivery lead by Q2 2027 if the fit is there on both sides.

What you'd actually do

What we need to see

How the first thirty days go

Week one you shadow — three live client calibrations, two recorded debriefs from active accounts, one reading list on our house style. Week two you take over one existing client's next calibration session with a Bengaluru lead on the line as backup. Week three you scope a new US intake end-to-end. By week four you own a small book of three accounts, and we know from the client feedback whether this works.

Less glamorous than it sounds, more useful than it sounds — same as we tell people about the Bengaluru role.

Rates and mechanics

Range depending on experience is $95–130 an hour as a 1099 contract, 20 to 30 hours a week to start. Invoicing is fortnightly, paid in seven days, no games. Health, if you'd like it, we cover through a Justworks contract-benefits ride-along after month three.

If we convert to full-time delivery lead in Q2 2027, base range is $185–225K plus profit share.

Written a scorecard that a hiring panel actually used? We'd like to read it. The form below takes about eight minutes if you have a resume and one work sample handy — please attach both. Rajesh reads every submission personally within four working days.
